Somebody Sent Me is operated by HEY BRAIN LLC. This page explains how I handle information when you visit the site, request a call, pay, or receive one

What I collect

When you click “Book the Messenger,” I save your assignment as a private draft during checkout. It includes your email, the recipient's name, phone number and location, preferred calling times, the message, any files you attach, and other details you provide. I collect your name only if you choose to be identified. An incomplete checkout is not an order for me to call. Calls are recorded, including the voices on the call

The site saves a checkout reference so I can match your draft to the confirmed order. Stripe handles checkout and any payment details; this website does not receive your full card number. Stripe receives your email and the recipient's state and city for checkout, but not the recipient's name, phone number, or your message. The hosting and payment services may also process technical information needed to operate their services

How I use it

I use this information to review and deliver your message, contact you about the assignment, match it to payment, handle support or refunds, and meet applicable legal obligations. I do not sell your personal information

Who handles it

Netlify hosts the site and stores private drafts and confirmed assignments, including attached files. After Stripe confirms checkout, the website sends the full order, including the recipient's phone number, message, and any files, to my private business email so I can review and deliver it. Purelymail delivers and stores that email. Stripe processes payments when required. Telnyx supports the phone calls. These providers handle information needed to perform those jobs. If I publish a selected call clip, the clip may also appear on TikTok or another social platform and be subject to that platform's practices

Recordings and public clips

Calls are recorded. Selected calls may become public clips, but buying a call does not guarantee a video. Information included in a public clip can be seen, saved, or reshared by others, even if I later remove my post

How long I keep it

I keep incomplete checkout drafts only while they are needed to complete or troubleshoot checkout, then delete them. I keep confirmed assignment details and unpublished recordings only as long as needed to deliver the service, handle follow-up, refunds or disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. When they are no longer needed, I delete them from the systems I control. Stripe and other providers may keep records under their own legal and operational requirements. Public clips may remain available while they are posted or reshared

Cookies and tracking

This site does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies in its own code. Stripe's separate checkout may use cookies or similar technology to process payments and prevent fraud. Because this site does not use cross-site tracking, its own behavior does not change in response to a browser's Do Not Track signal
